Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2025

1. Service Description

Stopal provides pallet storage and logistics management services. We collect, store, and return customer pallets using our own facilities, vehicles, and staff. By creating an account and using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.

2. Exclusivity of Logistics

You may not engage any third-party logistics provider, courier, removal company, or any other party to physically handle, transport, relocate, or retrieve your pallets stored with Stopal. All pallet movements — including delivery in, retrieval, and inter-warehouse transfers — must be arranged exclusively through Stopal.

Breach of this clause entitles Stopal to withhold access to the stored goods and suspend your account until the matter is resolved.

3. Payment Terms

Storage fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on or before the start of each billing period. Late payment incurs a surcharge of 5% per 30-day period on any outstanding balance.

4. Liability Limitations

Stopal is not liable for damage to goods caused by improper packing by the customer. Our maximum liability for any claim is capped at the declared value of the affected goods or three (3) months' storage fees, whichever is lower.

Stopal takes reasonable precautions to protect stored goods but cannot guarantee against loss or damage caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, or theft resulting from force majeure events.

5. Acceptable Use

The following goods may not be stored with Stopal under any circumstances:

  • Hazardous or toxic materials
  • Illegal goods or contraband
  • Flammable or explosive substances
  • Perishable food or organic materials
  • Living animals or plants

Stopal reserves the right to inspect stored goods if there is reasonable suspicion of a violation and to report any illegal items to the appropriate authorities.

6. Abandonment Policy

If account fees remain unpaid for 60 or more consecutive days, Stopal reserves the right to dispose of, donate, or auction the stored goods in order to recover outstanding costs. Stopal will make reasonable efforts to notify the account holder before taking such action.

7. Account Termination

Either party may terminate the storage agreement with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, the customer must arrange retrieval of all stored goods within the notice period. Goods not retrieved within this period may be subject to the abandonment policy described in Section 6.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United States.

9. Changes to These Terms

Stopal may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via the email address associated with your account.
